Protein, doing better than I thought…

I decided to actually track my protein consumption today. I was actually surprised that some of my “carb” things had more protein than the items I paired them with! Ah… the benefits of eating whole grains!

Bagel Breakfast Sandwich
-Bagel, 11g
-Sliced cheddar cheese, 7g
-2 slices deli ham, 6g
-1 egg, 6g

Hot dog
-Hebrew National Low-fat beef frank, 7g
-Bun, 8g

-Chocolate, 3g
-Graham crackers, 2g

Large glass of milk, 20g

So that’s already 70g of protein and I haven’t even had dinner yet!
