So Bean has been extra affectionate lately, bestowing me with multiple kisses and hugs multiple times a day, always wanting to sit in my lap and be one inch from my face or whatever it is that I am doing. I guess I am relatively happy that she is no longer in the phase where she runs in the opposite direction of me screaming, “Can’t like Mama! No!” Still, a little space might be nice. Here’s an up close and personal look at what I’ve been experiencing lately. 🙂
I can’t stop thinking about this tortilla soup I had the other night at a little hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant here in town. So it’s my picture for today.
I’ve cut both kids’ hair myself a few times now, but when I do it I get some pretty skeptical looks and comments from Stephen or one of my sisters. So since we finally, after living here almost two years, found a stylist we love, I decided to make appointments for the kids. I forgot to take pictures of Sprout getting his hair cut, but here are the ones of Bean.
Thanks again Shannon Ashlea! You were so great with the kids and they look great.
A few years ago, pre-kids I was over at Talia’s and laughing because I caught a glimpse of her kids’ lunch plates and noticed they had eaten their apple slices like you would eat an orange slice, leaving the peel behind. Well, guess who started doing the exact same thing all on her own at breakfast today?
Kids are weird.
